Lots of new and exciting announcements in the world of games were published today, including news of a new Halo 3 expansion pack, Microsoft confirming the date for Xbox 360’s major firmware update (November 19th!), and Sony saying that they’re working hard at putting people like me out of a job, by making all PSP games available to download.
However, probably the most interesting news for me was that legendary beat-em-up games developer Namco are aiming to get Tekken 6 on the shelves by Autumn next year, and this time it’s going to be on Xbox 360, as well as PS3!
I guess that with MGS4 not exactly setting the world on fire, and Square announcing that FFXIII will be available in Europe on Xbox 360 as well as PS3, developers are getting nervous about releasing Sony-exclusive titles. And no doubt they’ve seen the selling power of Microsoft’s awesome power.

I am an avid fan of Tekken and I am hoping to get a PS3 and a PSP 3000. I will definitely get the next Tekken game, if it comes out on the Sony format.
